This completely remodeled and renovated home stands tall with magnificent views up valley, and at 200 yds from beach, you'll hear the winter surf. The house can be rented as separate units, or spaces combined for larger groups. Because of high balconies, children under 10 are not safe here, sorry. An elevator is available for elderly or wheel chair access or moving heavy luggage. Otherwise, it's two flights of stairs! We only rent to respectful people who are quiet enough not to disturb other guests or neighbors. If you like to party, best to find another place! Also, smoking is not allowed anywhere in house nor on lanai. If you love nature and want to experience the real Hawaii, and not a condo complex that could be anywhere, 'Rainbow Views' is for you!

We have been renting to honeymoon couples, couples, small families, and extended families for over 10 years.
We are located 4 miles north of Hanalei, 1/4 mile north of Lumahai Beach where the movie South Pacific was filmed, 2 miles south of Tunnels Beach famed for snorkeling, and 4 miles south of Ke'e Beachwhich is the end of the highway and the beginning of the Kalalau Trail. This last four miles of coastline from Hanalei Town to Ke'e Beach is the most beautiful and sought after area on Kauai.

North Shore too Rainy ??? The Garden Island News Aug 26, 2005 "Former President Bill Clinton, his wife, U.S. Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-New York, and daughter Chelsea, have been vacationing this week on the Garden Island. The Clintons are staying in Ha‘ena, at the private residence of... " About 1 mile from Rainbow Views. Why didn't they stay on south side among all the commercial resorts and tiny packed beaches? Not convinced? Why is our neigbor Pierce Brosnan NOT living on South Shore? |

Unlike the South Side, there are no hotels here, no resorts, no stop lights! It is lush, tropical, and natural.
Hanalei is a tiny town five minutes away with stores, gift shops, several restaurants, photo shop. Hanalei features the most beautiful white sand beach on Kauai. Princeville is another five minutes away with a larger grocery store, more restaurants and gas station, (and a zillion condos).
All spaces have wireless internet, a shared phone with free long distance calling, DVD player. All have the same magnificent view :)
Here are your choices...
Dawn Studio is a large open studio with private entrance, kitchenette, ADA bathroom and shower, a jacuzzi tub on lanai, King bed, fold out couch. Though the beds can't see each other, they are close, so there is little privacy so this wouldn't work for two couples, but would for small family. See seasonal rates far bottom.

Lily Pad Studio is the smaller, 500 sq ft. and rate is less, so named as it looks straight down on a pond with purple water lillies, photo below. Lily Pad features private entrance, a large bedroom with dining space, two person jacuzzi on spacious lanai, a small kitchenette, and its own bathroom with shower.

Rainbow Views (Private Bedroom) is the central part of house with private entrance, full kitchen with oven and dishwasher, large living room and large round lanai with seperate bedroom and also fold out couch for extra bedding. The private Bedroom has a king bed, and bathroom with shower. There is an extra half bath for living room. Rainbow Views has no tub. We suggest larger groups rent Water Lily with Rainbow Views. See Seasonal rates far bottom. Major Remodeling so no photos till mid Oct.
