Welcome to Kauai! We can accommodate a couple in Lily Pad Studio or a small family in Dawn Studio....

This new home stands tall with magnificent views up valley, and at 200 yds from beach, you'll hear the winter surf. This is a high end house at a budget price! Travertine floors, onyx bathroom counters, granite kitchen counters, and all brand new. Both ends are studio bedrooms with their own bathroom and kitchenette and entree. See Rates far bottom

Because of high balconies, young children will have to be watched carefully. Also this being a new house, we are naturally protective of the wood floors, curtains, etc. and would like you to be also. All shoes and sand on feet come off at bottom of stairs! An elevator is available for elderly or wheel chair access or moving heavy luggage. Otherwise, it's two flights of stairs! We only rent to respectful people who are quiet enough not to disturb other guests or neighbors. If you like to party, best to find another place! Also, smoking is not allowed anywhere in house nor on lanai. If you love nature and want to experience the real Hawaii, and not a condo complex that could be anywhere, 'Rainbow Views' is for you!

We have been renting to honeymoon couples, couples, small families, for over 10 years on Kauai.

We are located 4 miles north of Hanalei, 1/4 mile north of Lumahai Beach where the movie South Pacific was filmed, 2 miles south of Tunnels Beach famed for snorkeling, and 4 miles south of Ke'e Beach which is the end of the highway and the beginning of the Kalalau Trail. This last 8 miles of coastline from Hanalei Town to Ke'e Beach is the most beautiful and sought after area on Kauai.

Unlike the South Side, there are no hotels here, no resorts, no stop lights! It is lush, tropical, natural and GREEN! ....Saturday, May 23, 2009 "The AP reports that Hanalei Bay on the Hawaiian island of Kauai was ranked as the best beach in the world by “Dr. Beach,” Stephen P. Leatherman, director of Florida International University’s Laboratory for Coastal Research. “The sheer beauty of Hanalei Bay is breathtaking."

Hanalei is a tiny town five minutes away with stores, gift shops, several restaurants, photo shop. Hanalei features the most beautiful white sand beach on Kauai. Princeville is another five minutes away with a larger grocery store, more restaurants and gas station, (and a zillion condos).

All spaces have internet, cable TV, a shared phone with free long distance calling, DVD player, CD player. There is washer and dryer shared by all. All have the same magnificent view :)

Dawn Studio is a large, 900 sq. ft, open studio with private entrance, kitchenette with frig/freezer, hot plate, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker and grinder, blender and complete table settings and cookware, ADA bathroom (with hair dryer) and shower, a jacuzzi tub on lanai, King bed, fold out couch. Laundry area includes ironing board. The beds can see each other, so this wouldn't work for two couples, but nice for small family. All linen and towels provided with laundry access. Breakfast option is available.

Okay, its time to make your inquiry!  Deborah, booking manager, will be responding usually within 12 hours.

We need the following info when you inquire .

8.    Deposit payments are made here using paypal button ("ADD TO CART") and your credit card AFTER you have received email confirmation of your acceptance of booking agreement.

The deposit is graduated to the balance, so use drop down menu on paypal prices to send appropriate deposit for your booking. Deposit for 3 nights or less is $100.00, deposit for 4 to 6 nights is $200.00, deposit for 7 nights or more is $300.

If your booking is within 60 days, you will pay full balance here using top button for $100 to $1000 payment and the lower button for $10 -$90. The sum of both will equal your full balance, such as $800 from top button and $50 from bottom button makes two payments totaling $850 for one week. Please click on white box drop down menus. Each button is a separate transaction, they cannot be combined to one payment.
